Where I could play ping pong in Poznan , Poland?
I am a foreign student, currently studying in Poznan, AMU university. I'd like to find a place where I could ping pong. I ask many of my friends but they don't know as they seem not interested in this sport....
How long is a ping pong ball?
In a one-on-one ping pong match, how do we decide who gets a point when the call could go either way?
My dad and I have some intense ping pong matches but it's not fun when we both get pissed 'cause one person thinks he deserve the point and the other thinks he does. Here's the most recent incident I'm serving and the ball clearly hits the line at least to me it clearly hit the line so I am sure that I should get the point. On the other hand my dad says he clearly saw that it did not hit the line and was out so he should get the point. My argument is that I have a better angle to see whether or not the ball was in and that he is looking out of his peripheral vision for that split second and that his vision may be skewed so the ball looks like it was out.His argument is that he is closer and he is looking directly at the ball so he has the best angle to make the call.Hahah any help would be great Thanks
What is the best ping pong grip to use?
I sorta decided to take ping pong a little farther than just playing around, and I want to know which is the most common or best ping pong grip to use.
If a ping pong ball hits the metal piece for the net and bounces back, does it count?
Me and my buddy were playing a game and he hit the ball. It then was on its way off the table when it hit the metal piece holding the net up not the net itself and then bounced back on the table. He insists that it counts, but i think it doesn't. Can someone please enlighten me on whether or not it counts?
My new ping pong table has an 8.5 inch gap in playback position. How do I close it so balls do not fall in?
I just bought a new Sportcraft Marquis table tennis table. It is great except it has a large gap 8.5 inches in playback position.So, when I practice by myself, balls tend to fall through the gap. Any suggestions to close the gap using an easy to add remove fixture would be appreciated.I was thinking of a laminate board that I can easily place over the gap and remove for normal play. Any other options?

Imagine this scenario...Player A Serves the ball to Player B's side.Player B Slams the ball hard to the right side of the table and hits the EDGE of the table and then ball goes way to the right.Player A Trys to get the ball but is way too far away.
Ping pong tips needed?
During Winter there will be a Table tennis or ping pong championship and around 15 players will join this competition and i'm actually practicing but i am still weak to pretend to win, after practice a good racket is the most important thing that i need so i was looking about a killerspin racket , and i found the Killerspin Jet 600 for around 79$ and i thought that it would be perfect for me, actually i don't know how my playing style is called but i will describe it shortly. So basically i play with the back of the racket but i smash with both sides , usually i don't do a lot of spin but now i'm trying to do more and trying to do some more training at serving learning some new serves and practicing them , i don't have a ping pong table at home but i can find a net and i can find some kinda flat wood with a normal ping pong table size to practice more. Any tips about the racket or about the training would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

If you hit the ball and it goes over your opponents side its your point unless they hit it with their paddle above the table right? So if their paddle isn" t above the table and they hit it, it's still their point?
